My name is Marc and I am one of the proud owners of Magical, one of the finest yachts in the region.
Magical is a 2023 Horizon Power Cat that was designed and built to her owner’s specifications. The owners spared no expense to create a comfortable, fun and fantastic experience each and every time we step on board.
Magical has the most amazing two-person crew – Captain and Mate/Steward. They are two of the most amazing people with years of experience in navigating, managing, hosting and making sure every detail is handled for every guest. Most importantly they are there to keep everyone safe and once that box is checked, its all about fun fun fun and service service service.
Magical is ideal for up to 13 guests for day charters and two or three couples or a family of six for an overnight charter.
Magical Features
Magical is 62 feet of length and 25 feet of beam and has three full levels for guests. She has 4 staterooms (bedrooms) and four heads (bathrooms).
A fully stocked galley (kitchen) and a gorgeous salon (living room) with ample seating for 10 guests. The salon has a full bar always ready to make drinks of any kind and Magical is also stocked with all of your favorite games from chess and poker to scrabble for those times you just want to chill in the salon.
The aft deck on the salon level has a beautiful teak dining table to seat 8 guests comfortably and another 4 or 5 on the couch.
The bridge (upper deck) has four lounges a BBQ, ice maker, chest freezer and a full sunshade if you prefer the shade vs direct sun. The bridge area is able to be fully enclosed and air conditioned and allows for seating for another 10-12 guests comfortably and has a dining table, bar, sink and refrigerator.
There is also a TV on the aft deck, so you don’t have to miss those important sporting events while dining or hanging outside. There are also two swim platforms with ladders to enter and exit the water and a HiLo (hydraulic platform) that is ideal for hanging out in the water and easily being able to paddle board or have cocktails while slightly submerged on the platform.
Magical also has a 14-foot tender with a 70 HP Yamaha outboard engine to ferry your guests to the island or into shore when we are out at anchor. We can take the tender with the charter when desired or leave it behind at our dock.
Itineraries for charters can include Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota and points farther south including Key West. In the springtime Magical is in the Bahamas and in the summers Magical is in Annapolis and New England.

The Bow Area
The bow area is very large and can accommodate a very large number of people lounging on cushions or sitting on our cushion chairs and it also has two fantastic princess seats on the bow rail so you can face your friends or drape your legs over and watch the water as we are under way.
The bow also has a large garage that holds all of our water toys for actives like Snorkeling, SNUBA compressors, water scooters, paddle boards, floats, fishing rods and large firm rafts that can hold all of your guests as you sip drinks floating behind Magical at anchor.
Day Trip and Overnight Charter Sample Itineraries
From mid May through January, Magical is docked in Tampa Bay at Marina Pointe in South Tampa. Some years, we take her to Key West in July, and she is always in The Bahamas for February through early May.
If you are considering a charter in the Tampa Bay Area, Magical can pick you up in a number of convenient locations. The Gandy Boat Ramp, The Tampa Yacht and Country Club, Hula Bay or the Tampa Convention Center downtown. In Pinellas County, Magical can easily pick up at the St. Pete Yacht Club, St Pete Municipal Marina or Doc Fords on the St. Pete Pier. Out at the beaches, Magical can pick up in Tierra Verde, Pass-a- Grille, also can pick up in Treasure Island and Clearwater if desired.
There are so many options to choose from in terms of activities and places to go while chartering Magical. Here are some to consider, but it can be customizable to your wishes.

Sarasota has a few great options including LongBoat Key Moorings and Marina Jacks. Both provide you with an array of actives and absolutely beautiful harbors. Longboat is a little better for the beach and golf and Marina Jacks is situated right downtown in Sarasota and there are some of the best restaurants and live music venues to explore.
As you work your way further south, you can hit Sanibel Island and South Seas Plantation, or go down to Naples and stay at the City Dock right downtown. Key West is also an amazing destination for fun, fishing, snorkeling and exploring both the water and the downtown area on Duval Street. You can of course choose to stay some of your nights or all of them out at anchor and just stay on the water and enjoy the solitude and nature. This is my personal favorite. Just open water and good friends and family to share the time and fun with.
If you are interested in the Bahamas in the spring or taking advantage of Magical when she is already in Key West in July, just contact us and we can talk about the best itineraries.
If you are doing a full day or half day charter, here are some good options to consider.
Downtown Tampa cruise and dock if you like for an excursion to have a meal off Magical if desired.
Beer Can Island is a great place to anchor and swim and even go into the island for some of the fun activities that are setup on the island.
St. Petersburg (downtown), cruise around the St. Pete area and look at the beautiful waterfront homes and cruise the pier, the marina basin and stop and check out some of the restaurants, bars and attractions on the pier and on beach drive.
Cruise down the bay through the Sunshine Skyway and out to Egmont Key for a fun day anchoring and walking the island and exploring the old fort and light house.
Tierra Verde, Pass-a-Grille, St Pete Beaches are all fun to cruise around and there are many places to drop anchor and swim or just enjoy the sights and sounds. We always enjoyed dropping anchor on the gulf side of the Don Cesar and swimming and hanging out for a while. There are too many places to name that are just gorgeous and a lot of fun, all up and down the coastline and on the inter coastal waterway.
For those who wish to overnight, either for just a night or two or for five nights or a full week, there are so many options and so many great marinas to stay at from Clearwater al the way to Naples or Key West. Just a few ideas that we like a lot are to stay in Clearwater at The Sound concert venue when a favorite band is performing.
To stay on Clearwater beach and use Magical as your own condo to take advantage of the beach and all the activities available. Staying in downtown Tampa or downtown St. Pete are great options because both cities provide an array of amazing restaurants, bars, live music venues and The Lightning Hockey in Tampa with The Rays Baseball and Rowdies Soccer in St Petersburg. Each city has art museums and Tampa has an amazing Aquarium as well.
Anna Maria Island, and Sarasota are also great places to cruise to and explore on both the gulf side and the inter-coastal side.
